Movie: A Shot in the Dark (1964)
Film Synopsis:
When Spanish driver Rich Mr. Benjamin Ballon was found dead, Inspector Jacques Clouseau was the first official on the scene. All evidence points to Maria Gambrelli, the waitress, being the murderer. But Clouseau, attracted to the beautiful girl, is convinced she is hiding something. So, she gets him released from prison and secretly tries to follow him. Things dont work out the way the inspector wants them to and people keep getting killed, and every time, the innocent Maria seems to be the murderer. But with someone important wanting Clouseau and no one else to cover the case, his tolerance-challenged boss, Charles Dreyfus, nearly loses his mind as victims keep appearing.
