Movie: A Sugar and Spice Holiday (2020)
Film Synopsis:
The film follows Chinese American Suzie who uses her familys cultural traditions to spice up an old-fashioned Christmas baking competition. Suzie, an up-and-coming young architect, returns to her hometown in Maine for Christmas where her Chinese American family runs the local lobster bar. Following the loss of her beloved grandmother who was a famous baker in their community, Suzie decides to follow in her grandmother Beis footsteps, entering a local gingerbread house competition. Teaming up with high school friend Billy, who grew up being caught, Suzie must find the right recipe and sugar and spice mix to win the competition and maybe find some love in the process.
