Film Synopsis:
A widowed journalist recruits the help of a federal agent to investigate her deceased husbands secrets, but both become targets of an unknown assailant. When FBI Agent John Nelsons key informant, Miles, is kidnapped and shot, all that remains is a severed finger. To find a new edge, Nelson travels to New York City to tell widowed magazine reporter Rebecca Scott that her long-dead husband, Miles, was recently murdered to see if she has heard from him in recent years. Confused, Scott joins Agent Nelson in the rich enclave of Australias Gold Coast to find out whats really going on. Both Soon Discover Miles may have been part of an elaborate "Ponzi scheme" to cash in on investors, and vengeful billionaires, out of millions of dollars. As more layers of Miles secret life are exposed, can the two stay ahead of the mysterious assailants who will stop at nothing to stop their investigation?
