Movie: Ashes and Diamonds (1958)

Film Synopsis:
A young academy soldier, Maciek Chelmicki, is ordered to shoot the secretary of KW PPR. Coincidence causes him to kill others. Meeting face to face with his victim, he was shocked. He faces the need to repeat the killing. He meets Krystyna, a girl who works as a barmaid in the hotel restaurant "Monopol". His affection for her makes him more aware of the absence of killing at the end of the war. Loyalty to the oath one takes, and thus the obligation to obey orders, tips the scale.
