Movie: Asterix and Obelix Mission Cleopatra (2002)
Film Synopsis:
The Egyptian Queen Cleopatra bets against the Roman Emperor, Julius Caesar, that her people are still great, even if the days of the Pharaohs are long gone. He vowed (against all logic) to build a new palace for Caesar within three months. Since all the architects were busy or too conservative in style, this ambivalent honor fell to the edifists. He had to have a palace built and covered in gold or, if not, his fate would be to be eaten by crocodiles. EDIFIS calls upon an old friend to help him: the extraordinary Druid Getafix from Gaul, who brews a fantastic potion that grants supernatural powers. To help and protect the old Druid, Asterix and Obelix accompany him on his journey to Egypt. When Julius Caesar got wind of a successful project, he attacked the construction site by his troops to win the bet and not lose face.
