Film Synopsis:
Ella Peterson works in the basement office of Susanswerphone, a telephone answering service. He listens to other peoples lives and adds interest to his own existence by adopting different identities for his clients. They include an out-of-work method actor, a dentist with a longing for music, and especially playwright Jeffrey Moss, who suffers from writers block and is in desperate need of a muse.
