Movie: Brief Encounter (1945)

Film Synopsis:
Returning home from a shopping trip to a nearby town, bored suburban housewife Laura Jesson is thrown into a chance acquaintance with the virtuous doctor Alec Harvey. Their casual friendship soon develops over the course of their weekly visits into something more emotionally satisfying than expected, and they must grapple with the potential turmoil their relationship will deepen in their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
