Movie: Bucktown (1975)
Film Synopsis:
Duke Johnson visits a small southern town, intending to bury his brother. After the funeral, he learned that he had to stay for 60 days, for the estate to be processed. Several locals convince Duke to reopen his late brothers nightclub, and soon the local redneck cops are intimidating Duke with threats of violence. Duke refuses to pay the bribe they demand, so he and his girlfriend Aretha are threatened and attacked by crooked cops. Rather than take it himself, Duke calls his old friend Roy. Roy brings some friends to Bucktown, and they bring justice to the small town. With the redneck cops out of the way, Duke lets him down. Then the situation got out of control again.
