Film Synopsis:
In a mountain town, where corn and poppies grow, girls wear boyish haircuts and have underground hiding places to escape the threat of being stolen . Ana and her two best friends grow up together, affirming their bonds of friendship and discovering what it means to be a woman in a rural town marked by violence. Their mothers trained them to escape death, to escape those who turned them into slaves or ghosts.
