Movie: Criminal Law (1988)
Film Synopsis:
A young, up-and-coming lawyer successfully defends a man accused of murder, only to have the same type of murder occur again. Soon the man he defended previously hired the lawyer again, and even though the lawyer was pretty sure he was the killer, he agreed to come back to defend him... much to the consternation of his friends. However, he explains that by being his lawyer, he will be better able to catch the man by accident... and on this the rest of the film develops, with the killer playing a game of cat and mouse with the lawyer until, finally, they both have to realize that they are not that different.
