Film Synopsis:
On the Arabian Peninsula in the 1930s, two warring leaders come face to face. The victorious Nesib, Emir Hobeika, set his peace terms to rival those of Amar, Sultan Salmaah. Both men agreed that no one could claim the land there was no land between them called the yellow belt. In return, NESIB adopted Amar Saleeh and Audas two sons as insurance against invasion. Twelve years later, Saleeh and Auda have grown into young men. Saleeh, the warrior, itches to escape his gilded cage and return to his fathers land. Auda only cares for books and the pursuit of knowledge. One day, their adoptive father Nesib was visited by Americans from Texas. He tells the Emir that his land is blessed with oil and promises him riches beyond his wildest imagination. Nesib envisions a realm of infinite possibilities, a kingdom with roads, schools, and hospitals all paid for by black gold beneath the barren sands. Theres just one problem.
