Film Synopsis:
In Les Halles, in the heart of Paris, restaurateur Andre Chatelin, lives an uneventful life until the arrival from Marseille of Catherine, the daughter of his ex-wife Gabrielle. She tells him that his mother is dead and he is without resources. Chatelin welcomed her under his roof – then married her. Gerard, a young student whom Chatelin views as a son, becomes Catherines lover, and he puts her at odds with Chatelin. He asks him to kill the restaurant owner. He refuses. He killed him. After discovering that Gabrielle is still alive, in denial and addicted to drugs, Chatelin realizes the darkness of Catherines soul as she has always lied to him.
