Film Synopsis:
Nine-year-old Frankie and his single mother Lizzie have been on the move ever since Frankie can remember, most recently arriving in a seaside Scottish town. Wanting to protect her deaf son from the truth that they had escaped from his father, Lizzie had invented a story that he was away at sea on HMS Accra. Every few weeks, Lizzie writes Frankie a typical letter from her father, recounting her adventures in exotic lands. When Frankie tracks the ships progress around the world, he discovers that it is due to a dock in his hometown.
