Film Synopsis:
“Dolly Partons coat of many colors” is based on the inspiring true story of the incredible upbringing of living legend Dolly Parton. This once-in-a-lifetime special takes place inside the close-knit Parton family as they struggle to overcome a devastating tragedy and discover the healing power of love, faith, and the patchwork coat that helped make Parton who she is today. The film is set in Tennessees Great Smoky Mountains in 1955. It is not a biopic or musical about Dollys entire life and performing career, but rather a family-oriented, faith-based story about incidents in her and her familys lives around the time she was nine year.
