Film Synopsis:
King Lear, old and tired, divides his kingdom among his daughters, giving great importance to their protest of love for him. When Cordelia, the youngest and most honest, refused to flatter the old man in return for his help, he discarded her and turned for support to his remaining daughter. But Goneril and Regan have no love for him and instead plot to take all his power from him. In parallel, Lears loyal courtier Gloucester supports his illegitimate son Edmund after being told lies about his loyal son Edgar. Madness and tragedy befell the two starless fathers.
