Philo Beddoe is a regular, laid back, truck driving guy. Hes also the best Bar-Room Brawler west of the Rockies. And he lives with a 165 pound orangutan named Clyde. Like everyone else, Philo eventually falls in love - with a storied singer who takes him chasing a screw ball across the American southwest.
