Movie: F for Fake (1973)
Film Synopsis:
Documents the lives of famous people Elmyr de Hory and Clifford Irving. De Hory, who later committed suicide to avoid more prison time, made his name by selling fake works of art by painters such as Picasso and Matisse. Irving is best known for writing a pseudo-autobiography of Howard Hughes. Welles moves between documentary and fiction as he examines the fundamental elements of fraud and the people who commit fraud at the expense of others. Uploaded by: Otto October 22, 2014 at 04:40 pm
