Film Synopsis:
As children in the loving Ekdahl family, Fanny and Alexander enjoy a happy life with their parents, who run a theater company. However, after their father dies unexpectedly, the siblings end up in a joyless home when their mother, Emilie, marries a strict bishop. The grim situation gradually grew worse as the bishop became more controlling, but dedicated relatives made valiant efforts to help Emilie, Fanny and Alexander.
