Film Synopsis:
In 1969, with Sven Nykvist as cinematographer, Ingmar Berman made the doc Faro, a film that ends with a rather pessimistic view of the islands future. One of the scenes in this film is a school bus and its young passengers. To this and the reality of ten years later Bergman returned in the feature-length documentary Faro 1979.
