Movie: Gogol Viy (2018)
Film Synopsis:
A mysterious black horseman kills young girls near the village of Dikanka, and he has already slaughtered 11 women. Nikolai Gogol, a scribe from Saint Petersburg is to be in charge of the investigation, but the closer he gets to solving the case, the more he has, causing terrifying visions. When he learns that his next victim is his girlfriend, Liza, he doubts that he can protect her and fight the killer. Luckily, he meets someone who can help him: Khoma Brut, The Witch Hunter, Military Artist and Philosopher.
