Movie: It Happened in Brooklyn (1947)
Film Synopsis:
Danny has been in the Army for 4 years, but all he thinks about is Brooklyn and how great it is. When he returned after the war, he soon discovered that Brooklyn was not so good. He gets to share a place with Nick, his old high school janitor, and gets a job as a singer at a music store. She also meets Leo, a talented pianist and teacher of Anne, whose dream is to sing opera. When Jamie arrives from England, Danny tries to show him the Brooklyn experience and helps him compose modern swing music. Together, these four also try to help Leo get a Brooklyn Music Scholarship.
