Film Synopsis:
In this inspiring story from the Book of Genesis, Young Shepherd Jacob (Matthew Modine) falls in love and wants to marry Rachel (Lara Flynn Boyle), the daughter of his uncle Laban ( Giancarlo Giannini). Having no dowry, Jacob toiled seven years as his uncles indentured servant to win Rachels hand. But calculating Laban deceived him into seven years of labor.
