The path to his ultimate goal – his next Broadway hit – unfolds in a fun, engaging, and poignant adventure that not only offers an intimate look into the journey of a passionate artist, but also shines a light on rarely told Latino stories about rarely told Latino stories. Rarely recounted Heroes who made their mark on America. Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the One-Man show taking shape, the film follows Johns process of separation-from his initial inspiration and research, to his first comedy club tour, through performance workshops-before culminating in a performance at a historic public theater as he aims to run Broadway.
