Film Synopsis:
Set in 19th century Warsaw. The laziness of aristocrats who, secure in their pensions, were too lazy to undertake new business risks, frustrated Wokulski. His ability to make money is respected but his lack of family and social rank is demeaning. Because of her "help" (in secret) for the "dolls" father, the girl becomes aware of his affection.
