Film Synopsis:
Nicolas Mallet, an inconspicuous and shy bank employee, one day manages to invite Marie-Paul, a young woman he has never known before, on the street -walk Paris to a cafe and sleep with him the next day. When he tells his shocked friend Claude about the incident, the disillusioned and flawed writer begins to mentor him, leading Nicolas on a dazzling social climb.
