Film Synopsis:
While listening to the recording of Penny Serenade, Julie Gardiner Adams begins to reflect on her past. She recalls her impulsive marriage to newspaper reporter Roger Adams, which started on a very happy note but turned out to be full of tragedy. Other songs reminded him of their courtship, their marriage, their desire for a child, and the joys and sorrows they had shared.
