Movie: Quatermass and the Pit (1958)
Film Synopsis:
When a skull is discovered during building work in Knightsbridge, London, the work is stopped so that a full archaeological excavation can continue. The Diggers dug deeper, finding more skulls, but also discovered several tube-like shell shapes made of a ceramic-like material. The Ministry of Defense believed that it was an unexploded bomb, but when they managed to dig inside the shell, they found a dead insect-like creature.
