Film Synopsis:
When his mother deposits him in the Red Hook Housing Projects in Brooklyn to spend the summer with the grandfather hes never met, young Flik might as well land on Mars. Fresh from his comfortable life in Atlanta, he is bored and friendless, and his strict grandfather, Enoch, a fire preacher, is determined to get him to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Only Chazz, the feisty girl from church, provides a diversion from the drudgery of work.
