Film Synopsis:
After her adoptive mother dies, Hortense, a successful sunglasses expert, searches for her biological mother. He is shocked when his research leads him to a working-class white woman, Cynthia. At first Cynthia denied the claims, but she eventually admitted to giving birth to Hortense as a teenager, and the two began to bond.
