Movie: See You at Mao (1970)
Film Synopsis:
Jean-Luc Godard brings his political cinema to England, exploring the revolutionary signals in British society of the late 60s. Constructed as a montage of various disconnected political acts (in line with Godards then appropriation of Soviet director Dziga Vertovs agitprop techniques), it combines a diverse range of footage, from students discussing The Beatles to the production line at the MG factory in Oxfordshire, burnished with political sloganeering on the screen.
