Film Synopsis:
Shakuntala, the daughter of Meneka and Rishi Vishwamitra lives in the forest with her teacher, Rishi Kanva. In the jungle she meets Raja Dushyant, falls in love with him and the two get married. After she had their baby (Prince Bharata), Dushyant left her in the jungle with a promise to return soon for her.
