Film Synopsis:
A Chronicle of the Rise and the short career of rock n roll star Buddy Holly, who aspired to play music the way he wanted to. Holly and his band, The Crickets, were first invited to record in Nashville, where they faced creative differences with the producing staff. Then they played a big booking at the Apollo Theatre, scheduled there under the mistaken assumption that they were a black band.
