Movie: Sweeney 2 (1978)
Film Synopsis:
The plot is set on a group of bank robbers, who are both hardened and successful, strangely escaping each time with an amount of around £60,000, and often leaving behind more than this amount. The raiders were willing to kill their own team, to leave. As Jack Regan himself says after the first attack in the film: "Ive never seen so many people die". Armed with gold-plated Purdey rifles, they evade Regan and the flying squad for some time, before Regan finds encouragement from his chief detective supervisor being demoted for corruption because Jack will not testify in court for him.
