Movie: The Dawn Patrol (1938)

Film Synopsis:
In 1915 France, the main brand commands the 39th squadron of the Royal Flying Corps. The young airmen rode in "chests" riddled with bullets and the casualty rate was appalling, but Brand could not produce a "brass hat" at headquarters. Wayward Air Ace Captain Courtney is another thorn in the brands side... but finds the smile wiped from his face when he rises to command his own squadron. Everyone keeps a stiff upper lip.
