Film Synopsis:
The true story of Elle France editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who, in 1995 at the age of 43, suffered a stroke that paralyzed his entire body, except for his left eye. Using those eyes to flash her memoir, Bauby eloquently describes aspects of her interior world, from the psychological torment of being trapped inside her body to her imagined stories from lands she visited only in her mind.
