Film Synopsis:
Animas Trujano is a colorful but irresponsible Indian in a small Mexican village. He hopes above all else to one day be elected Mayordomio of his village, a place of great honor usually given to the richest and most respected citizens. Animas has a faithful wife, but cheats on her and gambles every penny they raise. The opportunity arose for Animas to turn over new leaves and even realistically hope for Mayordomios honor.
