Film Synopsis:
Thousands of participants in a San Francisco-based alternate reality game end up getting more than they bargained for. Told from the perspective of the performers, the film stares into the abyss at an emerging new art form in which the real world and fictional narrative combine to create unexpected and often unsettling consequences. Examining counter-culture, new religious movements and street art, the film takes viewers on a journey into a secret underground world filled with the surface of everyday life.
