Film Synopsis:
On the final day of the first manned mission to Mars, a member of the Tantalus Base crew believes he has made an extraordinary discovery - fossil evidence of bacterial life. Unwilling to let the relief crew claim all the glory, he disobeys orders to pack up and heads out on an unauthorized expedition to collect further samples. But routine digging turns to disaster when the porous soil collapses and he falls into a deep crevice. His broken comrades attempted to recover his body.
