Its 1977, Dublin is rocking the Thin Lizzy music scene and the world is stunned by the death of Elvis Presley. Frankie, caught between acne and adulthood, has just finished his final exam at school. Convinced he will fail, he survives a summer of organizing beach parties, having lustful thoughts about two girls he believes are unobtainable and fending off the advances of a visiting American family friend, all while coping with his strange family.
