Movie: The Painter and the Thief (2020)

Film Synopsis:
When two of artist Barbora Kysilkovas most valuable paintings are stolen from the gallery at Frogner in Oslo, the police are able to find the thief after several days, but the paintings cannot be found . Barbora went to the trial in hopes of finding clues, but he ended up asking the thief if he could paint his portrait. This will be the start of a very unusual friendship. Over three years, the cinematic documentary follows the extraordinary story of an artist searching for his stolen paintings, while at the same time turning thieves into art.
