Film Synopsis:
Marcellus was a tribune at the time of Christ. He was in charge of the group assigned to crucify Jesus. Drunk, he won Homespun Jesus robe after the crucifixion. He was tormented by nightmares and delusions after the event. Hoping to find a way to live with what he had done, and still not believing in Jesus, he returned to Palestine to try and learn what he could from the people he killed.
