Movie: The Tempest (1979)
Film Synopsis:
Prospero, a powerful magician, lives on a remote island with his virgin daughter, Miranda. He was in exile, banished from his duchy by his usurping brother and the King of Naples. Providence brings these enemies close; Aided by his follower, the Spirit Ariel, Prospero conjures a storm to destroy the Italian ships. The kings son, thinking all the others lost, becomes Prosperos prisoner, falls in love with Miranda and she with him. Prosperos brothers and the King wander the island, as do a drunken cook and sailor, who conspire with Caliban, Prosperos beast slave, to kill Prospero.
