Movie: Thieves Like Us (1974)
Film Synopsis:
Bowie, a young convicted murderer, and Chicamaw bank robber and T-Dub Escape from a Mississippi chain gang in the 1930s. They hole up with gas station attendants and continue robbing banks. Bowie, injured in a car accident, takes refuge with the gas station attendants daughter, Keechie. They became romantically involved but their relationship was strained by Bowies refusal to reverse his crimes. The film is based on the novel thieves like us by Edward Anderson.
