Film Synopsis:
In 1866, a new gold discovery and an inconclusive conference convince U.S. troops to build roads and forts in territory ceded by previous treaties to the Sioux. ..to the disgust of Frontier Scout Jim Bridger, whose Cheyenne wife leads him to look into the conflict from both sides. A powder-keg situation needed only a spark to bring about war, and a ruthless fanatic like Lieut. Rob Dancy is too likely to provide this.
