Movie: Toni Erdmann (2016)

Film Synopsis:
A farmer in rural Russia comes to St. Petersburg. Petersburg to escape absolute poverty and find work at the outbreak of the First World War. He comes to live with his friend, a Bolshevik worker who has called a strike at his factory. The farmer betrays his friend to the factorys greedy management, leading to the strikers arrest. Feeling remorse for his actions, the farmer attempted to plead for his friends freedom, but the situation escalated and he was imprisoned without trial and sent to fight in the war.
