Film Synopsis:
Between 1993 and 1999, a man robbed 29 financial institutions in Budapest. Banks, post offices and even travel agencies became victims of his crimes. Police had no leads and no hope of finding him during his six years on the job. The only clue left at the crime scene was the distinct aroma of whiskey. The media christened it "whiskey bandit". Never physically harming anyone, many began eagerly following his adventures through the media. A Transylvanian immigrant, who was also the goalie for one of the citys biggest hockey teams, named Attila Ambrus, was eventually identified as a "whiskey bandit".
