Movie: Westfront 1918 (1930)

Film Synopsis:
A group of German infantrymen from the First World War live out their lives in the trenches of France. They found brief solace and relief in a village behind the lines, but mainly terror filled their lives as attacks on and from the French army ebbed and flowed. One of the men, Karl, returns home on leave only to discover the degradation forced on his family by wartime poverty. He returned to the line in time to meet a massive attack by French tanks.
