Film Synopsis:
In 1945, a boy arrives in a small town in Georgia on a bus where his mother was kidnapped and murdered. Alone he sat quietly and everyone became convinced that he was deaf and dumb. Deciding that silence offered some strength and protection, the boy decided to remain mute and simply listen to everything that was said around him by people who thought he could not hear.
