Movie: Whiteboyz (1999)
Film Synopsis:
In a nearly all-white Iowa town, reverse daydreams of being a hip-hop star, hanging with Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre. He practices in front of the mirror and with his two best friends, James and Trevor. He speaks black slang, he dresses in black. Hes also a wannabe pusher, selling flour as cocaine. And while he talks about "keeping it real," he barely notices the real life around him: his father is laid off, his mother is on food stamps, his girlfriend is pregnant, James is possibly psychotic, one of his friends (one of the towns few black kids) is preparing for college , and, on his way to Chicago to try to buy drugs, the police fired real bullets.
