Movie: XIII The Conspiracy (2008)
Film Synopsis:
The first female US president Sally Sheridan is shot dead by a sniper during her Veterans Day speech. The killer narrowly escaped the scene with his life, national security hot on his heels – or so it seemed. Three months later, an elderly couple finds the body of an injured man in a tree, wearing a parachute. The young man (Dorff) cannot remember even the slightest thing about his own identity. The only clue is the tattoo on his neck, "xiii". Meanwhile, at the White House, government intelligence is still searching for the presidents assassin. With the election just weeks away, a confirmed suspect could swing the vote for the administration. Hours after location XIII was taken by Covert Intelligence, Elite Special Ops troops swarmed the couples home in Cape Fear. Running on adrenaline and instinct, XIII tactically takes out the soldiers one by one. On the run, clinging to one desperate clue after another, xiii begins to piece together her life, fragments of her memories returning. Finally captured, he learns that he had been given a stolen identity and put on a disguise to flush out a group of conspirators who were threatening to overthrow the government. Ensconced within the highest echelons of power, the conspirators ran their own security agencies alongside the government. The two go out to find him.
